A new opportunity exists for a skilled Diabetes Educator to join our dedicated Community Nursing team in this leave replacement role.
The Contract: Fixed Term until 10/04/2023, Part Time, 32.0 hours per fortnight
The Position:
In this role at BRHS you will perform individual health assessments, monitoring and education as well as facilitating health education to schools and community groups on a variety of issues pertaining to diabetes management. This position is responsible for aiding people to become informed of issues affecting their health, enabling them to accept and share responsibility in recognising their own health needs and make choices that are relevant/appropriate to their life situation.

The Community Health Service provides a multidisciplinary team approach to enhancing the health and wellbeing of the community. Individuals and groups are encouraged and supported to make healthy lifestyle choices through education, information and targeted health promotion activities.
