The role

Our VolkerStevin Business has a great opportunity for a Senior Engineer to support range of Civil Engineering schemes across Northwest of England.

Key accountabilities

• The senior Engineer will be responsible on site setting out and will apply designs and plans to provide engineering assistance to site activities.
• You will be required to liaise with the Sub Agent/Agent and Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.

Skills & experience

• Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects
• Degree/HNC, or equivalent, in civil engineering
• Ability to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance
• Experience of running reports and ensuring accurate record keeping
• Ability to communicate with client representatives, site team and operatives
• Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion
