As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our expanding team working out of Sydney Airport.

Working with other Engineers and Programmers in Sydney and from other Brock offices in Canada, you will be involved with designing, programming, configuring, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems at Sydney Airport, Melbourne Airport and other locations.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy & configure software to customer test and production environments
• Configure and setup server hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, Bluetooth Devices)
• ​Modify product code to meet the customer’s unique needs
• ​Demonstrate complete integrated system with key external stakeholders during Functional Acceptance Testing & On-site System Testing
• ​Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production.
• ​Support and Service of existing installed systems at the Airport
• ​Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• ​Proficiency with SQL & knowledge of databases
• Interest and background in IT
• ​Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable.
• Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, Python, Ignition is an asset
• Knowledge private cloud, vCenter administration is an asset
• The ability to perform night/weekend work on occasion
• Willing to travel up to 20% throughout the year
• Must meet federal security clearance requirements
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• Preferred 1-3 years’ experience (co-op considered). If you have graduated within the last 3 years, please also submit a soft copy of your transcript (unofficial copy is fine)
