Job Title: LMS Specialist FLSA: Exempt
Department: Education Travel: 5%
Reports To: Digital Learning Manager Approval: AEM
Location: Remote Salary Range: AO-48
Summary/objective
The Learning Management System (LMS) serves as the single point of access for online and instructor-led training for employees, customers and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for supporting the learning operations through Totara.
Essential functions

· Work closely with the Digital Learning Manager to coordinate the administration of learning programs
· Provides support and education for all LMS users and superusers including basic technical issues affecting learners and courses
· Supports learning operations by building AO NA online/blended courses that include media elements, surveys, assessments, supplementary materials, and reports
· Test all courses to make sure they are in proper working order
· Answering user help requests via the ticketing system, resolve basic LMS user issues, and troubleshoot to resolve the same
· Supports ongoing maintenance of the LMS by performing regular audits of the system and maintaining LMS performance support documentation (e.g., tip-sheets and user guides)
· Provide support during education hours, which occur in the evenings and weekends
· Support all AO NA Fellows webinars in zoom, and act as faculty liaison during the planning process
Additional Job Functions
· Assists Digital Learning Team with coordination of specific special projects and events
· Engage with course chairs and faculty as needed to support use of the platform
· Train staff, faculty and digital learning team as needed

Required education and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in a technical major or equivalent work experience
· One to Three years’ experience, working in an educational environment supporting the development and delivery of content through an LMS
· Experience working in Moodle
· Experience working in Zoom
· Experience using a ticketing system such as Zen Desk
· Knowledgeable in the use of HTML and other basic coding skills required to create web pages as needed
