Lumen Hiring for Manager, Talent Acquisition – Remote Job at Remote Full Time

The Role

Lumen is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead part of our Mass Markets recruiting team. We are looking for someone who is an expert at, and has a real passion for, hiring top talent in these spaces. The ideal candidate will have first-hand knowledge of how to drive sourcing strategies for these skill sets in hot talent markets, as well as recruiting managerial experience. We would also consider a lead recruiter with a can-do attitude and the aptitude to take the next step.

The Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies, plans and processes to attract professional, management and executive level talent.
• Mentor and grow the talent acquisition team to a best-in-class recruiting function ensuring that the highest levels of service delivery and hiring standards are consistently met. Provide coaching and career development opportunities to ensure continuous improvement of the team.
• Create and Implement recruiting best practices ensuring exceptional customer service with a primary focus on operational excellence, proactive, competitive, and cost effective recruitment solutions.
• Partner with managers and senior leadership to understand talent acquisition needs in order to build and maintain active candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill, high volume, or critical positions; establish regular strategic staffing sessions to determine priority pipeline positions. Develop creative recruitment solutions if the organization is experiencing difficulties in attracting the appropriate level and quality of staff.
• Deliver on Service Level Agreements/metrics while motivating your team to constantly raise the bar. Prepare and present regular management reports of key staffing metrics to include time-to-fill, attrition, diversity, cost, among others as applicable.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• 8+ years of full life-cycle talent acquisition experience including hiring in Mass Markets functions including class-based hiring
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership/coaching role in a large high-volume corporate environment, is preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of current HR practices for recruitment/staffing, employee relations, compensation, and employee development.
• An ability to influence and interact with all levels of the organization while establishing and maintaining collaborative partnerships.
• Ability to engage external communities through non-traditional recruiting.
• Proven ability to manage, coach, develop and mentor a large team
• Ensure staffing requirements are met in accordance with legal guidelines.
• Some domestic travel may be required
