PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Silicon Valley based Commercial Real Estate Property Management Company (Since 1955), seeks an experienced Property Accountant, who will be responsible for assisting our Property Managers. The Property Accountant will perform daily accounting tasks to assist property managers. Clerical position that involves Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting for commercial properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

General Ledger

1. Reconcile bank accounts

2. Record adjusting entries

3. Prepare monthly financial statements

4. Data entry of annual property budget

Accounts Receivable

1. Deposit and record payments

2. Enter tenant data and lease charges

3. Reconcile tenant expense rebill

Accounts Payable

1. Data entry of vendor invoices

2. Mail vendor payments

Software

1. Must understand Excel and Word

2. Company will train you to use Skyline Property Management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years property accountant experience wit essential accounting experience
• Completion of Principals of Accounting is required
• Highly motivated and responsible individual with an ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented individual
• Ability to multi-task
• Positive and energetic personality

Salary and Benefits

• Non-Exempt. Salary commensurate with experience.
