We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only understands how to code but also has well-developed problem-solving skills and knows how to build a system.

What you will do:

• Ensure software meets all functional and take the initiative to ensure non-functional requirements (scale, performance, security etc).
• Be comfortable with Problem Solving
• Collaborate with engineering team members to determine best practices and requirements for the software.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality Assurance, Data Science and Customer Success teams to deliver software solutions for our customers and their users

Our Tech Stack:

• PHP (CakePHP advantageous)
• Node.js / JavaScript (JQuery) / Typescript / ExpressJS
• Rest API’s
• SQL (PostgreSQL advantageous)
• Docker and docker-compose

What you should have:

• Experience working on large-scale complex software projects including monolithic and service-based architectures
• Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies
• 3+ years experience designing and building software applications, relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent demonstrated capability
• Attention to detail

What might be handy:

• Experience integrating with external systems and working with SSO
• Experience with AWS
• GraphQL
• Angular / Ionic PWA’s
• DynamoDB
• Working in an Agile environment
