About the Role
As a Front-End Developer, you will work with customers, product owners and development teams to implement and develop user interfaces. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working to deliver cutting-edge client-facing technologies and enhancements. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your abilities whilst utilizing the latest software technology.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of an Agile development squad to implement successful solutions that deliver customer value
- Writing and creating quality software by following development best practices and processes for testing and coding
- Minimizing code-level technical debt and improving existing legacy code through continual refactoring
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide support and guidance for the full software development life-cycle of products
- Creating and building scalable, sustainable and architecturally sound solutions to ensure we create and deliver innovation
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members to develop their skills in software development and best-practice
Requirements
- Have experience in test-driven development and Agile development practices (XP)
- Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and to solve problems through innovation
- Be a great communicator and willing to share your knowledge and experience with a wider team
- Be experienced working with Git and GitHub server
- Have some sort of scripting language for developing web pages, e.g. PhP, NodeJs
- Have experience in developing using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
- Have knowledge of preprocessing such as SASS or LESS
