Our company is currently seeking a Full-Time JuniorAccountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, and performing monthly accounting and tax services for our clients. We are a fast-paced environment and are looking for an experienced accountant who has worked in various industries for an accounting firm.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile Bank and credit card statements monthly
- Review financials to be able to indicate mistakes and make the right corrections
- Know how to assess a profit and loss and balance sheet
- Make appropriate payroll and tax entries if needed
- Experience with PayPal, stripe, and amazon is a plus
- Help out with cleaning up books and catching up on books for several months or years
- Experience running payroll and filing sales tax returns is a plus
- Tax Preparation Experience a must, 1040, 1120S, 1120, and 1065 returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Previous experience in Public accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must know Quickbooks Online and Quick books Desktop
- Must have 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
We are looking for someone to be available as soon as possible and someone who can work 40 hrs per week M-F. Tax season hours from January – April 15th, and extension deadlines of 55 hours is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
