Oracle Profitability Consultants, LLC Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Seeking a bookkeeper with managerial experience to work with small and mid-sized businesses. As the primary, full charge bookkeeper and trusted advisor to these business owners, you’ll assist them in understanding their numbers, creating simple accounting systems, and consulting on strategic business decisions. You’ll also provide invaluable mentorship to our team of talented bookkeepers. Your experience and talents will help our clients run successful, profitable businesses and create a measurable impact through better bookkeeping practices.

The position is fully remote. Our company is based in Arizona.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Manage our team of Bookkeepers to provide monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close and reporting to our small and mid-sized business clients

• Use GAAP principals to monitor compliance, accounting policies and procedures

• Work with our cross-functional team on projects, implementation and accounting process development

• Support client tax accountants in the year-end tax reporting process

• Identify and utilize technologies to improve internal and clients’ accounting processes

• Build and document best practices for standard procedures (SOPs) for clients

Job Requirements:

• Degree in accounting

• 3 – 5 years of corporate accounting experience

• Public accounting experience is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stay organized

• Strong customer service skills and enjoys being a problem solver

• A growth mindset and proactive attitude are a must!

• Must be team-orientated and enjoys helping teammates grow

• Advanced QuickBooks knowledge, including 3rd party apps (Shopify, FullCircle, etc.)

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

• Comfortable with learning new technology

Interview Process:

• An accounting and QuickBooks test will be given prior to an interview.

• A criminal background check will be processed before hiring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00 – $50,000.00 per year
