AppStar Financial, a leader in tech payment solutions to small businesses, is seeking to disrupt the industry with a fresh, innovative approach. We are looking to grow our team of Business Development Specialists who are critical to our market penetration strategy.

We need talented, driven professionals who want a fast progression through our sales track. The Business Development Specialist needs to be sharp, focused, and goal oriented with a strong desire to launch a career in sales. This is an exciting tech driven industry. Our office is centrally located in Kearny Mesa where we have easy parking, ongoing ping pong tournaments, electronic hoops setup, kitchens stocked with snacks, company lunches and fun sales events at places like Punch Bowl Social, K1-Speed and Axe Throwing.

As a Business Development Specialist you will

• Start your journey with a comprehensive training to learn our product, target demographic and how to sell it effectively
• Help small businesses across the country by understanding their needs and communicating the solutions that our products offer
• Call merchants across the country to sell our product (entirely outbound phone based sales)
• Work our database of leads after the training period
• Be scheduled to support our customers (6 AM – 2:30 PM; Monday – Friday) No weekends!
• Receive commissions per statement and monthly bonuses for reaching quota

In a perfect world, we are looking for the following qualifications and skills

• At least 2 years inside sales/short sales cycle experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and engage on the phone while thinking and reacting quickly
• Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
• High energy with a rock star attitude, strong work-ethic and drive to be the best
