About the Role

UTS Business School is the largest Faculty at UTS and one of the largest business schools in Australia with over 10,000 students and 350 staff. The Economics Discipline Group have approximately 25 academics active in research, teaching, service and engagement with business and government and four administrative staff.

The Economics Discipline Group is recruiting an Administrative Officer to provide a diverse range of administrative, secretarial and clerical support that contributes to the efficient operation of the Economics Discipline Group on a part time basis. The Administrative Officer is the primary point of contact for enquiries and is accountable for the provision of accurate information in a professional and friendly manner.

1.Demonstrated relevant administrative experience
2.Demonstrated excellence in communication skills and the delivery of customer service
3.Demonstrated well-developed time management and organizational skills to manage multiple complex tasks to completion ensuring accuracy and quality of work in a pressured environment with competing deadlines.
4.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a part of the team and exercise appropriate judgment, initiative and accountability.
5.Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to details.

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: $73,949 to $84,598 pa (HEW 5) (pro-rata)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (0.5 FTE/17.5 hours per week) and the appointment will be made on a fixed term basis until 31 of December 2023.
