Machine Learning Engineer, 1 Presidents Choice Circle, Brampton, Ontario, L6Y 5S5, ON

The Precision Marketing – PTP Engineering team is seeking a passionate machine learning engineer to build & deploy scalable ML engines to establish the best, most innovative customer experience through targeted recommendations, and who share the same purpose to courageously embark on this adventure with us. The successful candidate will demonstrate solid software development skills and preferably with a machine learning background. Join us in this dream to build & scale!

What You’ll Do:
Enhance, maintain, and monitor robust and scalable ML platform including feature pipelines, model engines and self-serve portals to productionize machine learning models and probabilistic frameworks for downstream uses such as targeting and reporting

Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) in the cloud, that can scale when needed

Shorten development cycles for ML pipelines by building and maintaining tools and infrastructure for efficient ML development

Advise on analytical architectures and provide engineering support for build, dev and validation phases of data products within Precision Marketing.

What You Bring

BA/BS (proven practical experience) in engineering, computer science or related technical field

Proficient in Python, SQL, Pyspark/Scala.

Experience in software engineering at scale, along with proficiency in using industry-standard development tools such as Git

Excellent DevOps/MLOps knowledge and experience with Dockers, Git (Gitlab/BitBucket), Jenkins

Experience and knowledge with Airflow such as pipelines, infrastructure, and configurations

Experience with spark ecosystem (RDD, Data-frame, Spark-SQL, koalas, Spark MLlib) and ability to tune/optimize spark code

Experience with cloud environments such as Databricks/GCP/Azure
