TST Prep Hiring for IELTS Teacher Job at Remote Full Time

Looking for a confident, open-minded and friendly teacher who is looking to supplement their income, learn a new skill, and be a part of something special.

TST Prep is an online TOEFL school that is looking to expand its small team of TOEFL teachers. We have one position still available.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in TEFL, ESL, English, or a similar field
• At least 1-year teaching experience
• IELTS teaching experience
• Passionate about language education and open to learning
• Friendly and adept at creating an enjoyable learning environment
• Familiar with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Zoom, and Loom (preferred)

The Job:

• Responsible for teaching 1-1, group, and webinar-style classes via Zoom. Will also be expected to field student questions and respond to inquiries.
• 10-30 hours of training depending on your level of experience ($15/hour)
• Part-time. At least 5 hours a week guaranteed, additional hours depend on demand (expect to work between 5-20 hours a week)
• Hourly teaching rate ($30/hour for the first 3 months) ($38/hour 3-12 months) ($42/hour 12+ months)
• Additional wage increases vary depending on your performance and the type of class you teach.
• There is a flat $22 rate for work outside of class time (i.e. blog writing, student feedback, meetings, etc.). Note that most of these tasks are optional.
• $12 per speaking evaluation (takes less than 15 minutes)
