Ameresco has a new opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Castleford, UK. The Finance Assistant is responsible for accurately processing AP and AR invoices, following the correct procedures. And will work with Project Managers, customers and clients to resolve an queries
Responsibilities:
Receive and verify invoices and purchase requisitions for goods and services.
Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
Ensure transactions comply with VAT and CIS regulations
Prepare expenses journals
Allocate invoices to the correct project.
Assist in the preparation of weekly payment runs.
Respond to vendor queries by phone and email
Review any unpaid AP invoices and payments on account.
Generate AR invoices
Qualifications:
Degree level or equivalent (desirable)
Minimum 5 years experience in a transactional accounting role
