This is a great job for someone who is looking to pursue a career in Finance and wants to develop their knowledge of Insurance Accounting and the UK and Ireland General Insurance businesses. The role would suit someone who has recently passed or is currently studying for the Associate of Accountant Technicians (AAT) qualification.

A bit about the job:
The purpose of the role is to be part of a team that is responsible for updating and maintaining the financial data used for UK and Ireland General Insurance management information. You will ensure that actual data is captured in an efficient manner to set timelines, and that appropriate controls are operated to ensure the data is robust. You will also assist in the financial planning/forecast and expense allocation modelling for both UK and Ireland General Insurance, ensuring the financial database is maintained and updated for changing business dynamics, and access permissions appropriately governed.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• A recently qualified Associate of Accountant Technician (AAT), or someone currently studying for the qualification.
• Comfortable with numbers as well as accounting and financial modelling concepts.
• Enthusiastic and keen to develop their knowledge of Insurance Accounting and the UK and Ireland General Insurance business.
• Finance degree is desirable
• Good communication skills

• Starting salary between £23,00 and £27,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
