We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Business Advisory team for an Assistant Management Accountant. The role will assist the management accounting function of the business by providing financial support to enable managers to make informed business decisions and effectively manage their area(s) of responsibility.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Delivering regular financial performance monitoring and variance reporting
• Assisting with preparation of annual financial forecasts and projections
• Calculating and maintaining material standards
• Assisting in calculations and inputs to the financial forecasting system
• Assisting with preparation of business cases and appraisals
• Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives
• Participating in inventory valuation
• Costing of new products
• Supporting changes to the ERP system.

Requirements – The successful applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting
• 1+ year(s) practical experience in a similar role
• Completing or desire to complete CPA, CA or equivalent qualification
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong customer focus and team orientation
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Good attention to detail
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous but not essential

The position reports to our Management Accountant, is based on the NSW Central Coast with opportunities to work from home and forms part of a small and highly experienced Business Advisory team who are focused on delivering outstanding business results.
