Our client has an extensive portfolio of capability and experience delivering all highways civil engineering requirements. Their diverse range of services include public realm improvements, junction improvements, car parks including park and ride facilities, footways, cycleways and other infrastructure for non-motorised users, carriageway construction and surfacing, draining improvements, signalisation, road lining and carriageway studs and more.

Summary:

iSupply Engineering are recruiting an Industrial Plant Manager who possesses the technical and operational expertise to successfully manage the installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of all asphalt plant (mobile & static), crushing plant, emulsion plant, bitumen production facilities and all other associated equipment across all UK operations

Reporting to the Plant & Transport Director and in coordination with senior stakeholders the Industrial Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and CAPEX budget for industrial equipment.

The Industrial Plant Manager will:

• Maintain and manage the maintenance programme in coordination with the industry sites and visit the industrial plants.
• Lead and coordinate on-site teams when commissioning industrial plant
• Ensure the safe and efficient running of heavy industrial plant.

The successful candidate will:

• At least 3 years in a similar management role within a heavy industrial, construction or production environment. For example, Civil infrastructure, Aggregates, Quarries, Mining etc
• Hold a relevant technical/mechanical engineering qualification
• Have highway/civil infrastructure industry knowledge
• Be able to confidently provide technical support and expertise when required
• Be experienced in sub-contractor management and coordination
• Be competent in compiling detailed reports
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Possess excellent and people management skills working in team or standalone situations. 
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office/Word/Excel/Outlook. 
• Full clean driving licence
• Be happy to travel/ live away for short periods of time if required
