The successful candidate will be responsible for building interactive and engaging learning content for all levels of P&H. The E-Learning Developer will work closely with experts to identify training needs and build out e-learning to fulfill those needs. They will work within the Learning Management System, being responsible to uploading content and correcting any issues that arise.

Your day-to-day activities will include:
Working with subject matter experts to identify training needs;

Developing plans to deliver required training;

Building and maintaining engaging and interactive e-learning content;

Creating easy-to-read learning documents;

Assessing the effectiveness of e-learning content;

Working with experts to revise and get approval of content;

Addressing LMS user issues in a timely manner;

Uploading and maintaining learning content on the LMS.

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Instructional Design is considered an asset;

Strong written communication skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);

Understanding of adult learning principles;

Strong research skills;

Ability to work under tight deadlines;

Experience with Articulate 360 software is considered an asset;

Experience with Graphic and Video design software would be an asset;

Experience with at least one Learning Management System would be an asset;

Knowledge of agribusiness is considered an asset.
