The Princeton Lumber Division is seeking entry-level mill production associates (General Laborers) for its Spareboard. We want individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic.

The starting pay for this position is $32.07 per hour.

Position Duties:
Must bring a commitment to safety, a positive attitude, and a desire to perform physical work

Entry-level labor duties may vary to include (but not limited to) shoveling, sweeping, spark watch, equipment operation, manual handling of lumber and debris, etc.

Assist the supervisor in maintaining records, report safety issues, concerns or hazard

Provide occasional relief coverage for regular operators

Will be on call to start

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

All applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent – attach transcripts to application

Uncompromising ability and willingness to follow all safe work practices and procedures

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills

Well-developed planning and organization abilities

A willingness to work alternate shift schedules and varying hours

Ability to work in extreme heat/cold and manually lift

May be required to move materials weighing up to 50 lbs

Must be team oriented, and able to work independently as required

Ability to effectively team with others in a rapid pace work environment

Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills

Offers of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of substance testing, background check, fitness for work testing, and agreement with general terms of employment.
