Aspire Software Hiring for Accounting Analyst – Remote – UK Job at London, England Full Time

Aspire Software is looking to hire an extremely self-motivated Accounting Analyst to join the Finance team and play a mission-critical role in helping to shape and develop the UK Financial Function!

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for helping support the UK Financial team and will cover a number of entities within the portfolio as the role develops by assisting in the financial integration of new acquisitions to the wider Aspire Software portfolio and becoming an exceptional entrepreneurial team player for our financial function.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

• Perform financial period close tasks and journal entries and accounting analysis
• Perform Balance Sheet analysis, including reconciliations of accounts
• Perform Intercompany transaction reconciliation and analysis
• Review postings to the nominal ledger and process corrections where necessary
• Payroll reconciliation and analysis
• Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
• VAT return preparation
• Participate in Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Analyse and discuss financial KPIs with the Senior Analyst
• Perform variance analysis of actual results vs financial plans
• Assist the Senior Analyst with group financial planning and analysis
• Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis and management reporting
• Assist in financial integration for new acquisitions
• Participate in special projects

About You:

• CCAB qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience in Accounting and Audit
• Advanced Excel skills
• A genuinely curious mindset, capable of quickly learning new systems, and the desire to grow and develop over time
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Resourceful and will take initiative

• Working remotely, based from home working in the UK with occasional travel
