ABOUT THE ROLE:
IKEA UK & Ireland are looking to welcome a new HR Manager in training to their team!
This is an opportunity for candidates who wish to train to become a store HR manager over the next 12 months.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Gateshead People & Culture (HR) team, to learn, grow and develop over the course of a 12-month period, from appointment. Our ambition is that you will then be ready to take up a store HR Manager position across the UK & Ireland.
For this role, you must be willing to relocate nationally upon completion of your training period to fulfil a vacant post.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You should have a minimum of 3 years experience as a HR Business Partner or Senior Retail Manager. You should have experience working in a large-format setting and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a first stage interview W/C: 08.08.2022
Final stage interviews will take place mid-late August.
We anticipate the successful candidate will start in September, 2022.
All interviews for this position will be virtual.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This role is full-time and permanent, working 39 hours per week, over 5 days. This is an in-store role and you will be required to work evenings and alternate weekends.
This is a training opportunity for 12 months, after this period, the expectation is that you are available to relocate nationally to fulfil a vacant role. All applicants must be nationally mobile across the UK and Ireland.
You must be willing to relocate to the Gateshead area (Newcastle) during the training period.
