Our client in the DMV area is seeking a highly motivated and organized Staff Accountant to join their team. This position will require someone eager to learn and grow in their career with excellent written and verbal communication skills!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all bank reconciliations are prepared in an accurate and timely manner
  • Writing checks and making journal entries
  • Researching inventory discrepancies and efficiently addressing issues and inquiries
  • Assisting with proper coding of expenses
  • Producing error-free financial reports and spreadsheets
  • Processing expense reimbursements with supporting documentation for invoices and receipts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field preferred
  • Non-Profit experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience at the Staff level
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
