• Our client is a prime contractor and major supplier to the U.K. Ministry of Defence and has developed strong capabilities in mission systems integration in defence, national security and commercial markets.
• A fully owned subsidiary of a company in the US, a listed technology company, they have been in the UK, in one form or another, for more than 100 years.
• Currently, they contribute £700 million* to the UK economy and are responsible for 10,000 jobs within the company and within the supply chain.

• Leading on the provision of finance support to a Business Division and Manufacturing function.
• Monthly Forecasting Process (Bookings, Sales, Profit, Cash).
• Management of monthly cash and Internal/External forecasting, understanding any variances to forecast
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis for inclusion in Management review packs.
• Risk and Opportunity management.
• Support Gate reviews for new business and the timely completion of the quarterly EAC process.

• Qualified accountant or studying towards (CIMA/ACCA).
• Project Accounting experience.
• Commercial and Business acumen.
• Good working knowledge of SAP, COGNOS, BW and MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
