Structural Engineer

An independent Civil and Structural Consultancy based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, are recently on the lookout for a Structural Engineer with around 1-2 years’ post-graduate experience to join their team.

The company are currently 9-strong and looking to replace an outgoing member of staff who is taking a position closer to home. They are ideally looking for someone who can work independently when required and would be a good communicator in closeknit, family-run firm.

Current projects include works on a nationwide supermarket chain, a number of car dealerships across the UK as well as multi-storey Residential apartment blocks in various locations in the North West.

The ideal Structural Engineer will:

• Have an Engineering or Engineering-related degree
• Have worked as a Structural Engineer in a Consultancy before
• Have around 2 (or at least 1 years) experience in a similar role
• Ideally have some experience using Revit (desirable)
• Ideally have some experience using Tekla (desirable)
• Have aspirations for Chartership (support will be provided)
• Live in commutable distance to Wilmslow

Free on-site parking is available for all employees and each employee will be issued 2 separate desks for both desktop-based work and a separate work station for additional purposes.

The right candidate will be looking for around £27k – £32k but all candidates with relevant experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. 25 days annual leave plus employer-contributory pension scheme applies too.
