The Role
As an IT Support Technician you will provide first line technical support to end users of IT equipment regarding account administration, distribution of software and documentation, system/network status, and problem entry via problem tracking tool.
You will also answer technical questions and perform troubleshooting regarding use and identification of personal computer hardware and software related to network communications, and train and lead lower-level employees.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
3+ years related job experience
Help Desk Institute Customer Support certification or ability to obtain it
Dell Certification or ability to obtain it
MCSA (Current Windows Desktop Version) Certification desired
ITIL 4 Foundation Certification or ability to obtain it desirable
Follow desktop support best practices to ensure accurate and timely problem resolutions
Excellent verbal and written communication
Australian Citizenship and the ability to hold a security clearance may be required
Work Conditions/Environment
This position is flexible with both in office and work from home, with management approval.
Standard work hours Monday – Friday, between the hours of 6am – 6pm.
Support assigned tasks during non-core business hours and weekends, if necessary, as this is a 24x7x365 global Service Desk.
