What’s the role about?

Reporting to the General Manager Finance – Terminals, we are looking for an experienced, proactive and hands-on professional to join our great team at DP World. This role is responsible for ensuring sound financial decision making, accurate reporting, insightful analysis and thorough planning are in place for DP World Container Terminals reporting.

Some responsibilities include:

• Consolidating the annual budget and forecasts, providing input into long term strategic plans
• Preparing schedules, assumptions and communications regarding budgets and reforecasts
• Work withing other stakeholders such as engineering, HR, safety, legal, etc to ensure input from key stakeholders in setting assumptions.
• Reviewing and preparing monthly reporting packs and the supplemental reports. This includes metrics from Safety, HR, Engineering and others.
• Review of the reports to ensure anomalies are investigated and issues are raised.
• Responsible for the indirect output of team members and development of team members in the financial analysis space.
• Ensuring the submission of risk, controls and audit reporting as required to DP World global.
• Completion of monthly reporting of workers compensation outcomes and costs

Our ideal candidate has:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA accreditation desirable)
• Broad experience in accounting and financial management over minimum of 2 years
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and team members
• Excellent communications and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical ability
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel skills should be advanced
