EXTEND YOUR POTENTIAL WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS 
We are looking for a Planning Manager to join our team in London, giving you the opportunity to co-create with our experts on some of the most prestigious infrastructure programmes in the UK. 
Working alongside the Project Controls Director, you’ll prepare and develop schedules for a variety of large multi discipline schemes or smaller projects, where the ability to prioritise competing demands will be key.
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and developing schedules in conjunction with Project Managers, including schedule updates and reports 
• Highlighting trends delays and issues within the programme and propose mitigation measures
• Ensuring programme related issues are addressed 
• Evaluating and reporting schedule progress and trends 
• Assisting management, project managers and colleagues to understand and buy into the planning and scheduling function
• Recognising and understanding competing business requirements within the plans and making recommendations for the overall good of the business
• Assisting the Project Controls team with evaluating schedule impacts arising from change and risk mitigation

Furthermore, you’ll have:

• A degree (or equivalent) in engineering or in a related discipline or demonstrable equivalent experience 
• Significant planning and scheduling experience in large multi discipline civil engineering projects (tunnelling experience preferred) 
• An in-depth working knowledge and hands on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Commercial awareness with a good knowledge of contracts and Earned Value analysis
• The ability to develop programmes independently with skilled capabilities in progressing, trending, forecasting and analytical reporting
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivation with the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience
