Where We Work

While we are headquartered in Calgary and maintain a satellite office in Houston, most staff elect to telecommute.

What You Would Do in This Role

The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors to Vista’s offices, and provides general administrative support to Vista personnel. Duties include:

Providing reception coverage, including greeting clients and visitors

Answering a multi-line phone system

Managing couriers

Sending out internal communications

Updating internal documents

Inventory and orders of office supplies

Processing invoices for payment

Assisting the Facilities department with event coordination

Organizing office space

Managing access card provision

Ensuring compliance with Vista’s Access / Security policies

Providing administrative support as required

Performing other duties as requested

Requirements

Experience with MS Office software, including Excel, Word and Outlook

Technical savvy

Focus on detail and conscientiousness

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to deal with all clients, both internal and external

Self-starter and the ability to work both in a team environment and independently

Positive and friendly attitude

Preferred

Undergraduate degree in a business field (Management, Human Resources, Economics, Finance)
