Face to Face Games Hiring for Customer Purchasing Associate at Toronto, ON Full Time
You will apprentice with our renowned Acquisitions team to learn the ins and outs of this challenging and constantly evolving business. This is an entry-level position that serves as a great launching point for a career with Face to Face Games, with plenty of opportunities for upward mobility. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to grade and buy cards as part of the TCG industry, this is your opportunity to learn from the leader in the Canadian market.
This position is for our main Toronto Retail location and available for full or part-time work. Remote work is not available. Candidates will also be given opportunities for domestic and international travel with our Events team as an official Show Buyer at our trade shows and tournaments.
Responsibilities:
- Buying cards on behalf of Face to Face Games from customers at our Toronto location
- Organizing, grading, and verifying incoming card shipments
- Buying cards at trade shows as an official Face to Face Games Show Buyer
- Direct client-facing communication and sales transactions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Magic: the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and/or Pokémon TCG
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience in buying/selling TCG singles is an asset
- Experience in retail customer service
