Conrad Consulting Ltd Looking for Principal Civil Engineer at Glasgow Full Time

Our client is going through a period of continual expansion and as a result they are looking for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to become the technical lead in their thriving Glasgow office.

As a Principal Civil Engineer, you are required to have experience in project management and business development within a similar engineering consultancy.

Your duties as the Principal Civil Engineer:

• Manage and support the development and sustainable growth of the Civils team
• Produce technical documents
• Engage with clients and attract new business
• Ensure that projects run smoothly to budget and to the highest possible standards
• Prepare pricing of project briefs, proposals, and deliverables

Within this role you will be/have the following:

• A technical leader capable of providing support and motivation to a diverse team
• Able to communicate and work effectively with colleagues and clients alike
• Knowledge of contract and commercial management
• Degree in Civil Engineer/equivalent
• Project + programme management
• Great people management skills to ensure that the best talent is utilised to meet the demands of project workloads to best effect
• IEng/CEng status

As the successful Principal Civil Engineer, you will receive:

• £58,000 – £63,000 per annum
