We’re delighted to announce that we have a great opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join our Finance Team.

This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to learn and develop within the role whilst providing support to the team around them. This position will contribute towards general ledger journal entries, month end close reconciliations and difference investigation, cash management transactions, monthly reporting, and along with taking ownership of the Fixed Asset Ledger.

Our ideal applicant will be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent foundation stage) and have previous experience from within a finance or accounting environment. Good IT skills are required for this position, in particular Microsoft Excel (including Filters and Pivot Tables and IF and Lookup functions) and use of accounting software (such as SAP, SAGE, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics etc.). Knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations is essential.
