Barnardo’s Hiring for Attendance Mentor Job at West Marton, England Full Time

We are seeking a highly motivated individuals with the passion and drive to be part of an exciting pilot commissioned by the DFE that will deliver targeted, responsive, one-to-one support for persistently and severely absent pupils across a number of Education Investment Areas (EIA).

The pilot will start in Middleborough, a priority EIA, from October 2022 in the first pilot year, then rolling out to four additional EIA areas in year 2, continuing in all five areas in year 3.

Barnardo’s are seeking to deliver this service from October 2022 pending successful award of the contract.

The successful candidate will:

• To support the identification, engagement and mentor support for pupils who are eligible for support within the project
• To hold a case load of pupils to engage in mentoring support
• To support the evaluation of the project
