JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION

The Bookkeeper will provide a broad range of support including customer service, data entry, bookkeeping and additional general accounting duties. We are looking for people who appreciate a fast-paced environment and adjusts quickly to priorities. A person who thrives on details, absolutely enjoys systematic approach, enthusiastic about the subject, open to communication and feedback, has high standards, and cooperates with the team and supervisors. Mission and Outcomes:

• Perform monthly bookkeeping duties for our clients (bank reconciliation, transactions reclassification, payroll and sales adjustments)

• Preparing and delivering monthly financial statements to our bookkeeping clients.

• Prepare reports for sales tax returns and personal property tax returns.

• Prepare federal and state tax correspondence as needed.

• Return client phone calls in a timely and courteous manner.

• Encourage our clients to participate in paperless workflow.

Competencies:

• 1-2 years of accounting / bookkeeping experience.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.)

• Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

• Knowledge of GAAP standards.

• Understanding of the payroll process (processing, tax reporting, liabilities adjustment, etc.)

• Basic knowledge of different tax entity’s structure.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skill.

• Solid knowledge of general office procedures, protocol, and professionalism.

• Self-starter who can work both independently as well as in a team.

• Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Reliable transportation is a MUST.
