About the role?

Due to continued growth within our Finance Division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to become a valued member in our Brisbane Head Office at Seventeen Mile Rocks, where you will join a well-established finance team. This is a pivotal role and provides an exciting opportunity to ensure all employees received accurate on time payroll payments.

Duties including but not limited to the following:

• Schedule bank payments to employees and distribute pay slips.
• Enter new employees’ data and update data as required.
• Collate and enter timesheets including calculation of overtime, public holidays and leave.
• Calculate and enter bonuses and allowance.
• Process employee termination and calculate termination payment.
• Ensure accurate wage and tax withholding calculations

Experience and qualifications

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrable experience of minimum 2 years years or more working in finance/accounting or a similar payroll function
• Understanding of accounting concepts and legislation
• Experience with Pronto (highly desirable but not necessary)
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
• Positive and can-do attitude!
