Reporting to the HR Manager – Central Region, the Senior HR Advisor will support our business leaders and talented people in one of Cummins complex and busy regions.
*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: *
Support the HR strategy within the Central region
Collaborate with business leaders in applying business and human resources functional knowledge to interpret the business environment, identify and prioritize current and future problems requiring solutions, and develop/implement initiatives to meet the business needs
Communicate and consult on all areas of human resources including compensation, benefits, recruitment, organisational development, employee relations, and performance management
Build constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders
Reinforce consistent application of Cummins standards and apply knowledge of employment and labour law, ensuring compliance to legislation and company policies and procedures
*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *
Experience as a Senior HR Business Partner/Generalist or HR Manager
A strong understanding of HR processes and employment law
Experience in partnering with senior / executive business leaders
Robust understanding of Enterprise Agreements and employee relations or willingness to learn
Ideally with experience working in operational HR
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to deal with conflict situations in a rational and constructive manner
Proven negotiating and advocacy skills
Able to identify, analyse, formulate, and implement appropriate courses of action, advising managers appropriately
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a diverse stakeholder group
An ability to network and engage people to achieve the objectives at hand
Work in a faced paced environment where no two days are alike
Travel to branch site locations to build relationships and provide fundamental support to your partners
