The P&C team at Development Victoria love partnering with our people to achieve meaningful business outcomes that everyone can be proud of! Reporting to the Executive Director – P&C, this newly created leadership role will take ownership for the identification, sourcing, assessment and engagement of best-fit talent for Development Victoria.

Partnering closely with the P&C team and business leaders, the role will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, campaigns and processes that deliver high quality outcomes, while continually seeking to promote and enhance our employer brand. The Talent Acquisitions Manager will also be responsible for:

• Providing recommendations and solutions to leaders covering all aspects of recruitment;

• Talent pipelining and industry mapping activities that deliver proactive solutions on demand;

• Managing the candidate experience in a way that positively reflects on our organisation

• Acting as the subject matter lead for candidate management technology solutions, including working with our ICT to research suitable systems and make recommendations;

• Working closely as a key member of our close-knit P&C team, sharing information, contributing ideas, managing and mentoring colleagues and providing mutual support, as needed.

This opportunity would suit an energetic and engaging talent acquisitions manager seeking a challenging and rewarding role, coupled with flexible working arrangements in a supportive and professional team environment. You will understand and promote the benefits of diversity and inclusion through contemporary recruitment processes and will leverage your knowledge of recruitment best practice to enhance the recruitment experience for all stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates.

You will have previous experience designing sourcing strategies and using recruitment technology (i.e. LinkedIn, Seek, candidate management systems) to deliver great results. Your strong organisational awareness (i.e. understanding of a business’ purpose, direction and culture), relationship management and influencing skills mean that you are a fantastic leader and partner for the business in all things recruitment and selection.
