Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd (MEPAU) is a leading energy company in Australasia. We’re a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and operate as the regional oil and gas exploration and production headquarters for Mitsui in Australia. We have interests in approximately 30 projects of various exploration/development stages and a rapidly growing operator presence in the Perth Basin.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our growing Perth office team of experienced professionals on a fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Financial Planning Lead, you will:

• Prepare the annual, mid and long-term business plans
• Perform reporting, analysis and tracking of performance metrics
• Provide financial modelling support (Excel and PlanningSpace) to business as appropriate
• Maintain and administer Finance systems, providing support as needed across the business

To be successful in this role, you’ll require the following skills and experience:

• Significant career experience in a similar role, preferably within the Resources sector or a large chartered accounting firm
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce or a similar field
• A strong working knowledge of Accounting Standards
• Sound knowledge of financial modelling
• Experience with MS Office Suite and MS Power Platform
• Experience with SunSystems and PlanningSpace is highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
