Reporting to the Director Human Resources, this position will work in a matrixed environment with our HR team in delivering talent acquisition solutions and help build our talent profile; collaborate with business leaders and other hiring managers to understand AAK’s business and drive successful delivery to support the hiring demands of the business. In this role you will build knowledge so that the HR function can collectively deliver relevant and appropriate talent strategies centered on attracting and hiring highly skilled, diverse talent.

Primary Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Management

In collaboration with HR leadership, ensure HR talent acquisition strategy is aligned with the overall business plans and determine future needs as the business evolves. In this role you will be the primary recruiter for our North America team.

Sourcing, Assessment & Selection

• Develop and implement appropriate talent strategies and tactics centered on attracting and hiring highly skilled, diverse talent. Deliver innovative approaches to talent assessment and selection for entry level and experienced hires, including active and passive candidates.
• Create and cultivate talent pipelines and communities. Reduce reliance on contingent and retained firms by developing a database of passive candidates

Employment Brand:

• Manage our Employment Brand, primarily on social media, in collaboration with Corporate Marketing & Communication

Headcount Forecasting / TA Planning:

• Build a data-driven talent acquisition function with simple but robust processes, including analytics, dashboards, and ATS reporting, and a culture of continuous improvement using data insights to shape our talent acquisition priorities.
• Work with site HR leaders in the headcount forecasting process to ensure AAK hires the right talent at the right time

Metrics and Reporting:

• Develop key metrics for talent acquisition efforts.

Diversity:

• Lead efforts to drive diversity recruiting for all areas across the organization, report key metrics on hiring

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with educational concentration in information technology, engineering, human resources, business administration or a related field is preferred.
• 7 – 10 years of progressively responsible experience within HR including all facets of talent acquisition – branding, sourcing, assessment, selection, TA technology and onboarding
• Experience working in a CPG manufacturing environment (foods, chemicals, pharma, etc)
• Experience in negotiations and working with external agencies
• Experience being the subject matter expert in Applicant Tracking Systems (UKG and/or Cornerstone HR) and social media tools. Advanced analytical and writing skills and experience with HR systems with ability to learn quickly,
• Capable of translating business priorities into HR talent programs, processes and initiatives that drive value and meet the business needs.
• Excellent project management leadership skills including the critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, now and in the future, without sponsorship.
