zeroheight Hiring for Finance Administrator Job at Remote Full Time

£30k-£35k + equity

We’re looking for a Finance Assistant who would be interested in furthering their career across the finance function of a start up.

Your impact

We’re looking to 2-3x in size over the next year and with that comes a variety of finance related tasks and projects to work on. You’ll be reporting to our Finance Manager but working closely with other functions across the company.

What you’ll be doing

• Payables management: processing/ paying supplier invoices & employee expenses to ensure we are accurately reporting costs, it’s also a great way to make friends by paying the Teams expenses on time
• Receivables management: vendor onboarding, raising customer invoices & chasing payments, helping the business maintain a steady cash flow
• Cash management: bank reconciliations & processing transfers aiding effective running of day to day operations, after all cash is King
• Payroll: preparation of payroll for employees across the world, whilst we all love working at zeroheight, being paid accurately makes everyone that little bit happier
• Month end reconciliations: tracking assets, prepayments and accruals schedules help fill us with confidence that our numbers are accurate, because no one wants unreconciled differences in life ❣️
• Ad-hoc reporting: we’re a rapidly growing business so there will always be opportunities to build on your skill set and help provide useful information to the rest of the team.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in a finance role, such as finance administration or accounts payables / receivables
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Proficient in using Excel
• You’re able to come to our London hub at least once every quarter

Preferred

• Experience in CRM and accounting software such as Hubspot and Xero
• Desire to gain Accounting Qualification
