This role will work closely and will provide support to the Talent Engagement Managers and Senior Managers to ensure the smooth running of our programmes from attraction and selection through to the in-programme experience and offboarding. This is a varied role that will enable you to get involved across the portfolio of programmes, ensuring that our apprentices and graduate participants have the best possible experience, whilst also adding significant value to our business.
The role involves:
Working in partnership with our Technology Degree Apprenticeship partnership Universities and colleges, recruiting and then supporting the students and the stakeholders with the successful running of the programmes.
Working with stakeholders across the business teams in which our apprentices and GBP participants are deployed.
Operational support for the portfolio of programmes; supporting the Talent Engagement Managers in looking after the day to day running of our programmes from planning to execution.
Pipeline management for our Technology Degree Apprenticeship programmes where required.
Supporting our campus and schools attraction strategy, delivering sessions in the Virtual Park, through alternative virtual platforms and attending events face to face.
Working closely with some of our third party partners and suppliers to ensure we’re getting ROI from our formal schools engagement partnerships. This includes arranging and coordinating events, working with the wider SR team to source hosts and ambassadors and working with the Employer Brand team to ensure all of the event branding is approved.
Processing and analysing recruitment data and using MI to help inform decision making on the strategies of the programmes especially around diversity.
Working closely with different teams across our business including HR, Reward and Learning and Development on a range of topics related to our programmes.
Supporting the wider recruitment team with events and assessments.
Skills needed for the role:
Able to manage own workload and prioritise a number of concurrent activities and demands
Creative approach to attracting candidates from diverse backgrounds into technology roles
Experience of managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Proactive, can do attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Team player – keen to share knowledge and relevant information with team and internal clients.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to offer pastoral support and to signpost to further sources of support for our apprentices and GBP participants, where needed.
