We are a 37+ year manufacturing & distribution company located in Bemidji, MN currently offering a full time position in Accounting & A/R Finance Management .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work activities include areas of accounts receivable/payable/tax.
2. Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards.

3. Manage applied payments and account statements.

4. Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and managing efforts.

5. Utilize accounting software along with Microsoft Office, Google Email, and Cloud Based data storage.

6. Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and vendors.

7. Provide customer service with account refunds, adjustments, discrepancies, short payments.

8. Participate in team planning and work atmosphere.

9. Work with reducing potential delinquent accounts and maintaining payment terms.

Qualifications Needed:

1. Demonstrate ability to self manage financial responsibility with assigned customer accounts.

2. Good working knowledge of computer spreadsheets & Microsoft Excel software.

3. Knowledge of Great Plains and/or Intuit Enterprise Accounting Software (or similar system) is a plus.

4. Strong attention to detail and project completion.

5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Employment Description:

Steady full time employment & work hours Monday thru Friday with (9) annual paid Holidays and (3) weeks of accrued paid time off.
