Pay Rate: $24 / hour.

Shift Details:

• M-F, 8am – 4pm (OT required)

Duties:


Accounting Operations – Analyst

• Assist with processing Senior and Community College requests in New York State’ s Financial System and City’ s Financial Management System respectively;
• Assist with bi-weekly credit card reconciliations;
• Under supervision prepare general ledger journal entries in CF, SFS, and FMS;
• Assist in preparing monthly reconciliations between ERP and various systems, including, but not limited to payroll (PS), vendor payments/AP (OTPS), and fringe;
• Work with the team to process bi-weekly payroll data from the State and City to generate PS entries to interface into ERP system;
• Assist in preparing accrual schedules at year-end; • Under supervision prepare quarterly reconciliation schedules for internal management reporting.
• Assist Financial Reporting and Analysis team with year-end audit schedules, reconciliations and various analysis to prepare the University’ s Consolidated Financial Statements and footnotes to complete the University’ s annual audit;
• Work on special projects, and other duties as assigned

Financial Reporting – Analyst

• Assist Associate Director in preparation of financial analysis of University’ s related entity activities with support from college accounting offices;

• Assist with the preparation of the University’ s general-purpose financial statements
• Assists with analysis of all related entity activities of the University particularly related to general ledger and treasury accounting;
• Reconcile deposits and transfer accounts timely with the City and State of New York;
• Prepares all transactions for funds activities, including investment pool transactions, financial statement data, footnote disclosures and entries as assigned;
• Assists in preparing management and financial reports as assigned;
• Act as liaison for colleges, and other agencies for related entity activities;
• Work on special projects, and other duties as assigned
