Spend the rest of summer and the fall/winter season as a member of the Building & Grounds crew at YMCA of the Rockies. 

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will assist in the upkeep, beautification and improvement of the Estes Park Center grounds. Surrounded on 3-sides by the National Park on over 860 acres of beautiful mountain terrain, this is the ideal job for someone who enjoys caring for trees, grass, flowers, and maintenance work of trash removal and maintaining sprinkler systems. Must possess a valid, USA state-issued drivers license as this position requires driving golf carts, pick-up trucks, and other maintenance vehicles. Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Knowledge of planting and caring for flowers, trees, shrubs and grass preferred.
• Experience using small power and hand tools and equipment including lawn tractors and mowers, weed eaters, and chain saws preferred.
• Must read and follow sketches and diagrams in English.
• Must follow written and oral instructions.
• Experience using tractors, skid steer loaders, and backhoes preferred but not required.
• Excellent public relations, time management, and organizational skills required.

• Possess stamina for physically strenuous all day work, including lifting, reaching, pulling, bending, shoveling, digging, raking and chain sawing.
• Work while standing during shift with frequent bending over and working with arms extended overhead.
• Physical effort with occasional heavy lifting and carrying of objects up to 100 pounds.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
