IT Manager eCommerce, Marketing and Services Business Systems

As the IT- Manager you will provide technical leadership to a team responsible for delivering portfolio of projects on behalf of Ace Business Partners with Ace Services typically valued at multi-millions of dollars annually.

What you’ll do

• Work in a matrix organization, to adapt new processes to meet business partners technology needs, including project planning and execution, to drive and manage the development, integration and testing of new Ace Services Systems
• Provide project portfolio management for assigned business unit(s)
• Ensure the development of high-quality technology related business solutions in accordance with established schedules and budgets
• Provide operational support for existing business systems for assigned business unit(s)
• Provide maintenance (break/fix) for existing business systems for assigned business unit(s)
• Advocate for the business, within IT, to ensure the technologies and business processes are developed to enable business initiatives for assigned business unit(s)
• Develop and manage key relationships with internal and external business and technology partners and vendors to sustain an innovative environment and react to changing business needs
• Provide business and technical leadership to assigned technology team(s), as well as thought leadership in the areas of business technology, including process management and technology solutions
• Direct and manage the overall technology satisfaction and expectations for assigned business unit(s)

What you need to succeed

• Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering degree, or equivalent is preferred
• 5+ Years IT experience, non-management preferred
• 5+ Years’ experience, in a Leadership role capacity
• Retail Industry expertise
• Business domain knowledge (Merchandising, Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, etc.)
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, practices
• Vendor management experience including evaluation, onboarding, negotiations, service level measurement criteria
