Main responsibilities
Working closely with internal and cross functional team members and ensuring priorities are actioned within agreed timescales (Including but not limited to):
To Define & deploy standard work packages and procedures for Operational & project requirements.
To Liaise with external & internal customers/suppliers. Establishing precise expectations & identifying where anomalies/inconsistencies arise.
To Control the deployment, content, revision and upgrade of process specifications
To Respond to customers, partners, suppliers and factory requests for industrial assistance where process, product design, material conformity, etc. problems are encountered.
To Resolve technical issues related to process/product applications.
To Provide an industrial support role for design/cost assessments, both routine and product proving.
To Liaise with internal & external functions to propose/provide timely and cost-effective industrial solutions or other technical activities.
To Ensure adequate feedback to projects and customers on defects and causes through detailed and consistent analysis.
To provide support for product integration with recommendations of sequencing, tooling, control plans, shop floor layouts, etc.

Desired qualifications
Valid driver’s licence
Experience in a similar position from one (1) to three (3) years (preferably in the railway industry) .
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent.
Technical knowledge of working with an ERP system (SAP), with IS common tools (Catia, Autocad, etc.)
Knowledge of SQCD standards (health and safety, ergonomics, quality, etc)
Excellent communication skills in English required (French an asset)
Microsoft office familiarity (Excel, power point, etc.) and presentation skills
Familiar with industrial processes and analysis tools/methodologies (FMEA, QRQC, MTM, line balance, etc.)
Familiar with lean manufacturing principles a plus. (TPS, GEMBA, KAIZEN, etc)
