Aquila Software Group Hiring for Software Development Lead at Toronto, ON Full Time

The Emphasys PHA team is seeking an experienced Software Developer Lead with a passion for finding innovative solutions to develop and test modern SaaS products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

Continuously analyze and strengthen existing applications for reliability, availability, security, and scalability

Contribute to changes in development standards and processes.

Conduct full stack diagnostics when necessary to help determine the root cause of problems

Contribute to the continual improvement of solutions, systems, and processes

Work on a fast-moving and highly collaborative scrum team.

Provide emergency on-call support

Participate and be an active contributor to the team’s software development lifecycle including Daily SCRUM, Stand-Ups, User Story Review and Sprint retrospectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field preferred

You have 5+ years of experience as a full Stack Developer in an Agile Scrum or Lean Software Development environment, following Test-Driven Development or Extreme Programming methodologies.

You have familiarity with continuous integration/deployment and zero downtime deployment.

You have worked as a senior or lead Delphi developer on enterprise projects

You have experience with:
Delphi.

SQL Server Databases and Stored Procedures.

Implementing OOP design patterns.

Consuming modern APIs.
