Talent Acquistion Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION ï‚· The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team ï‚· Arrange in-person or phone interviews between managers and candidates ï‚· Manager the candidate background check process (email applications, received/distribute completed reports. ï‚· Arrange pre-employment details (physicals and other applicable tests) ï‚· Make all necessary correspondence to candidates and hiring managers (interviewing feedback, rejection notices, preemployment communication) ï‚· Enter candidate and new hire information into HRIS/Applicant Tracking System and monitor approvals/onboarding process ï‚· Update new hire records in our HRIS/Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ï‚· Manager the new hire notification process informing all new Associates start dates ï‚· Order needed Talent Team technology for new hires via the online IT/Help Desk service ï‚· Enter position requisitions in the ATS ï‚· Assist in scheduling of Orientations as needed ï‚· Maintain a neat and organized reception area. ï‚· Additional duties as assigned and necessary for changing business needs ï‚· Effective verbal and written communicator ï‚· Trustworthy partner to Talent Acquisition Specialists and Managers ï‚· Champion in action to sell Grand Casinos as a great place to work ï‚· Ability to navigate online recruitment tools and internal processes ï‚· Understanding of talent acquisitions and sourcing processes and tools ï‚· Openness to collaborate with others at all levels to deliver talent ï‚· Team player ï‚· Guest Service focuses LEADERSHIP FRAMEWORK ï‚· Serves and develops others by building relationships. ï‚· Fosters an inclusive workplace where inclusion and individual differences are valued

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE ï‚· High School diploma or general education degree (GED). ï‚· Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with six months experience working in these systems. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS ï‚· Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference. REASONING ABILITY ï‚· Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response. PHYSICAL DEMANDS ï‚· Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively. ï‚· See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision. ï‚· Stand, walk, run, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl. ï‚· Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands. ï‚· Be able to lift and carry objects up to twenty-five (25) lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to: ï‚· A low-to-moderate noise level (offices). ï‚· A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas). SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS ï‚· Must possess excellent Guest Service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills ï‚· Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority. ï‚· Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s). ï‚· Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
