Role Overview

An experienced and self-reliant Finance Manager is needed at Artesian Hospitality. You will be responsible for coaching, developing, assisting, and mentoring a team of three accounts professionals within the growing business and ensuring the finance, reporting, and financial compliance requirements of the company are met. You will have a growth mindset and be able to innovatively develop the systems and processes that facilitate growth of the business, sustainability, and scalability.

At its core, success in this role is in the ability to apply your financial expertise to the company. In this role, you must have an innate passion for numbers. Additionally, you must be adept at supervising people and resources effectively across the business. Effective communication across the business and with key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

As the Finance Manager, your key accountabilities include leading the accounts function and assisting with all accounting, to financial reporting, tax and compliance functions. You will work with senior finance leadership to develop short-term plans while also identifying long-term strategies that will allow sustainable and efficient operation of the Artesian Hospitality finance function. You will support the Financial Controller/CFO with ad hoc projects, reporting and financial modelling.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years demonstratable experience in corporate finance positions
• Bachelor’s degree in management, accounting or business administration
• CA/CPA Qualification (with working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards/AIFRS)
• Experience with Power BI would be highly regarded but not essential
