Senior Associate – Talent Insights & Intelligence

Purpose of the Role:

The selected individual will be a key part of the newly formed Talent Intelligence & Engagement team who are responsible for building engagement and promoting the employer brand to active and passive talent. They deliver talent insights and intelligence that will lead and drive the proactive identification of talent and support the business in strategic talent decisions.

Working closely with the Insights and Engagement Manager, you will support the delivery of talent insights by providing knowledge and understanding of the talent market. With a rising need to inform decisions using robust data, the team collect and analyse data with regards to competitor talent, supply Vs demand and the discovery of what makes employees happy to support brand engagement.

You will work closely with the business and recruitment teams to share your talent intelligence and talent insights, working as a team to achieve recruitment targets.

By working with key business stakeholders, you will also be using data, insights, and expertise to support and influence strategic decisions in areas including diversity, location strategies and competitor attraction.

Core Accountabilities:

• Undertake insights exercises using talent insights tools to support EY’s understanding of the talent marketplace
• Undertake and execute a variety of talent intelligence projects such as supply vs demand talent analysis, competitor analysis and diversity insights
• Utilise talent insights to understand opportunities in the market to engage with talent based on the engagement with the EY brand
• Partner with other members of the Talent Insights & Engagement team, the wider TSI team and Experienced Hire to provide hiring manager stakeholders and business leaders information about the talent marketplace, including an understanding of where key talent resides, where EY gains and loses talent from and to and the hiring landscape across competitor firms/the wider market
• Use knowledge of current talent communities to share insights with the TSI team and the wider recruitment team on available talent in the market
• Use recruitment search tools to search for and identify the top talent in the industry and channels best to engage.
• Drive competitive talent intelligence research and analysis for key stakeholders when requested and on a proactive basis

• Previous experience in providing talent insight and intelligence to stakeholders.
• The ability to demonstrate previous experience on consultative projects using talent insights and data to influence decisions.
• Previous experience and a keen interest in data analysis with the ability to tell a story through data.
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience to understand challenges and provide solutions.
• Track record of providing creative solutions to recruitment challenges
• Demonstrable track record communicating with large groups of stakeholders
• Social media knowledge & experience
• Ability to demonstrate delivering exceptional candidate experience
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs
• Desire to develop and motivated to achieving targets
• Team player and ability to build strong relationships with new people
